We are pleased to announce a settlement by Consent Decree against Wyndham Hotel Group which covers their nationwide reservation system including 13 brands and over 8,000 hotels. Under this decree which you can find linked below, Wyndham is required to update its reservation system to fully comply with ADA. It is also required to perform an inventory survey of all of its hotels for accessibility features by making written inquiry and requiring their written response. This will prompt compliance efforts by hotels that have barriers to access by disabled persons across the 14 Wyndham brands which include Days Inn, Travelodge, Super 8, Ramada and Knights Inn as well as the higher end Wyndham brands.

This all began when a grandfather in a wheelchair wanted to use his Wyndham points to stay in a hotel with a pool so he could swim with his grandkids – for the first time ever. We are very proud of our client for stepping forward and we hope this will help many people with disabilities across the country.
